Pune, Maharashtra: MIT-ADT University, Pune, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Apollo Healthcare Academy to collaboratively offer Bachelor’s programs in Allied Health Sciences, marking an important step toward addressing the growing shortage of skilled allied healthcare professionals in India and globally.
The strategic partnership combines MIT-ADT University’s modern academic infrastructure with Apollo Healthcare Academy’s extensive clinical expertise to deliver undergraduate programs that integrate academic excellence with immersive hospital-based training. The programs will focus on high-demand specializations such as Anesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Critical Care Technology, and other allied health disciplines essential to contemporary healthcare systems.
Designed in line with the guidelines of the National Commission for Allied & Healthcare Professionals (NCAHP), the curriculum ensures national regulatory compliance and global relevance. Students will also benefit from structured clinical rotations at Apollo Hospitals and affiliated healthcare facilities, including a comprehensive final-year internship that prepares them for real-world clinical environments.
Healthcare systems worldwide, including insights highlighted by the World Health Organization (WHO), continue to face an acute shortage of allied health professionals, a gap expected to widen with aging populations and increasing healthcare demand. This initiative directly addresses this challenge by preparing graduates who are skilled, confident, and ready to contribute from day one.

The programs will be delivered by expert faculty from MIT-ADT University and Apollo Healthcare Academy, supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure including modern laboratories, classrooms, and digital learning systems.
The learning experience includes structured clinical training through hospital rotations, a mandatory final-year internship, global readiness modules such as bridge programs, language training, and licensing support, along with placement assistance through Apollo Hospitals and partner healthcare networks.
